From Sled Lake to Stark Lake – Northwest Territories, Canada

11th July – First trout

Finally Bernt caught our first real Canadian lake trout. Just minutes after we got into the canoe, he pulled up a 1,6 kilos lake trout. It was the small beginning of our fishing adventure, and Bernt, to my badly hidden frustration, would become the one that always got to know the biggest ones.

It was a beautiful day canoeing down Sled Creek. About 10 kilometers were behind us when we found a nice island to set up camp.

Fish caught:

Bernt: 1,6

Håvard: 0

Total: 1,6

A good way to keep the tent cool(er) was to flip the front over the middle pole. Lincoln is taking a morning break from the bugs
